CARNIVALE ANNOUNCES NEW LOUNGE MENU
West Loop Restaurant Now Offers a Creative New Menu Featuring Their Signature Latin Fusion Flavors with a Whimsical Twist
June 6, 2017 (CHICAGO) – Carnivale, a global Latin-fusion restaurant located in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood, recently named one of OpenTable’s Top 100 Hot Spots in America, announces their new lounge menu featuring small plates, craft cocktails, and wines by the bottle. Carnivale’s new lounge menu will is available Monday through Thursday from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM for the after work crowd, and from 9 PM till the kitchen closes for the after hours crowd.
The creative new menu features their signature Latin fusion flavors with a fun whimsical twist on traditional Latin dishes like their Smoked Chicken Croquettes infused with classic flavors like a roasted spicy buffalo aioli or their refreshing blueberry Sno-Cone featuring Bulleit bourbon with blueberry lavender Limoncello.
“We took the Latin fusion flavors we are known for and created a new menu for our lounge that will delight our guests with an explosion of exciting flavors,” said Executive Chef Rodolfo Cuadros. “We had fun creating dishes like a traditional Argentine meatball and giving it a twist pairing it with a grape gastrique to give it the perfect balance of sweet and savory. ”
Carnivale now offering their new lounge menu (from left to right): The Privilege for Two made with Absolut Eryx vodka, cognac, ginger liquor, pineapple juice, lemon juice, ginger beer; Havana Breeze made with Captain Morgan Grapefruit rum, cranberry, lime and Tuna Tostada featuring Yellowfin tuna, cucumber, red onion, cilantro, gouchujang sauce; and Beef Tenderloin featuring Aji panca marinade, garlic chips and Spring Thyme made with Ketle One Vodka, strawberry, thyme, lemon, sugar.

LAMB CHOPS ($9) – Wood grilled lamb chops, sweet plantains, chimichurri
TATER TOTS ($6) – Roasted garlic buffalo aioli
HOUSE MADE SANGRIA ($7) – Red wine, Cointreau Noir, tropical fruits
MOJITO ($7) – Cruzan rum, lime, mint, soda
HAVANA BREEZE ($12) – Captain Morgan Grapefruit rum, cranberry, lime
BLUEBERRY SNO-CONE – ($14) Bulleit bourbon, Blueberry Lavender Limoncello lemon, agave nectar
JUNIPER BLOSSOM ($12) – Tanqueray gin, pomegranate, orange, lime, cucumber, soda
SPRING THYME ($12) – Ketel One Vodka, strawberry, thyme, lemon, sugar

The lounge menu will also feature wines by the bottle with half off bottles available all day on Wednesdays. The wines include a selection of white, rose and red wines from Spain and California such as: Marqués de Cáceres, Verdejo ($40) Rioja, Spain 2015, Marqués de Cáceres, Rosé ($40) Rioja, and Bonterra, Reserve Sauvignon Blanc ($44).
Carnivale hosts weekly and monthly events including; Happy Hour Monday through Thursday, weekly Sunday brunch, and monthly Carnivale University classes led by their master mixologist, Daryl Freeman. Carnivale is also a preferred restaurant for corporate events and private dining, full venue rentals and social group events offering seven private and semi-private dining rooms for groups of 10 to 1,000 guests and service styles including buffets, shared “family-style” dishes, tapas, and plated meals.
